I’d give more stars if I could. These are very sturdy not flimsy traps and the best part about them is you don’t have to worry about snapping your fingers when setting. I caught the mouse I was after the first night and when your unloading it you do not have to worry about accidentally touching the mouse or smashing your finger like the old school kind. You just squeeze it like a claw clip and it’s off

2/8/26 I caught my first mouse about 3 weeks ago. Seen in attached photo. I caught this mouse in my garage. I ordered these, not realizing these have a unique way, to apply the food. (You load the peanut butter from the bottom). Cleaver idea. I love it. It’s so much easier to clean it too. I even gave my neighbor one of these traps. She caught a mouse last night, in her garage with this trap. These traps do work. I would buy these again if I need more. Definitely do read the directions, due to how you fill the trap with food, (I used peanut butter).

In addition to the glue traps placed in the kitchen, I've placed a few of these in front of the oven and dishwasher. They're the only places with enough space on the sides and underneath for a mouse to get through. I have a larger sized set of snap traps I've placed in the crawl space. These are perfect to add more coverage. The yellow color is suppose to help with luring the mouse. I tested the traps with a rolled up piece of paper. They are very sensative. Give a loud snap sound. Great product. Great value for the price listed.

With new construction going on behind our house, all of a sudden, these little guys thought they would move into the house and live rent free!! 😡 I set these out and added peanut butter to the center opening, unsure of what to expect. A couple of days later and I heard a SNAP sound only to discover that the tap had done its job! 👏🏽This little guy was small so I would definitely say the taps are sensitive so watch your fingers when setting them up or if you have little ones crawling around, be sure they can’t get to them and potentially get their little fingers caught. These are very easy to set up and with the cost, I just threw the entire trap in the trash but I’m sure it could’ve been used again. So happy these work and if needed (PRAYING NOT) in the future, I will definitely purchase again!!
